March to end executions takes to the streets of 3rd Ward

The March to End Execution gather more than a hundred family, friends and supporters of folks on death row marched against execution in the Third Ward of Houston Texas.

We Marched from the SHAPE Cener on Alameda to Our Park and the ampitheater in front of SHAPE Center on Live Oak. The march was nice, we had both eastbound lanes on Alabama and walked over 59 and under 288, which had great acoustics. I cant remember the last time I went to a march, it was exciting and empowering.

A number of people spoke and other indymedia folks recorded some audio. Here are some pictures.
