Demonstration:
Thursday February 28th, 4:30pm to 6:30pm.
Please come on over after work. We’d like to have everyone there by 6:00
pm. Location: In front of George R. Brown
Convention Center, 1001 Avenida de las
Americas, on the east side of downtown Houston.

Wednesday, February 27th 2pm to 9pm

We are bringing in twelve experts from across the country who have been fighting Big Coal where they live. They provide compelling evidence of Coal's injury to our health and environment. (conference schedule later)

Conference on February 27 & 28th! Numbers must be given to the caterers. If you are unable to attend and wish to send another representative from your organization, please do so. Congressional issues on the table
Presidential contenders' positions on climate change, a coal plant moratorium, & sustainable economic development
Efficiency alternatives to coal and progress on efficiency initiatives
Needs of attendees for help in efforts to stop the building of coal plants
Dinner: 6-7 pm
Documentary Film, "Burning the Future", with commentary/interview with David Novack, the film's producer, afterward. 7-9 pm

Thursday: 10:00am till 3pm (lunch provided)
Conference Presentations:
Presentations by Out-of state Activists/Representatives 10am-12:00
Lunch: 12:00-1:00
Final preparations for our Coal Moratorium NOW! rally 1-3pm

Demonstration outside the George R. Brown Convention Center from 4:30 till 7:00 rally
