Here's an assortment of the breaking down and moving out of the Katrina Alternate Media project, KAMP, low power FM station broadcasting from the Astrodome/Reliant/Arena area of Dome City, TX

Here are the pictures of Houston Indymedia volunteers dismantling KH5XIM, 95.3 FM, low power broadcasting to the survivors of hurricane Katrina.
We shut down broadcasting operations Saturday, Sept 17. We continue to cover the story. See

I left Gordon for a short drive home, while driving away from the station, I enjoyed listening to him giving caring support and encouragement to the listeners. Reminding them that they have the power and now is the time to take care of themselves and the ones they love. I was glad we had his voice for that Friday night. Thanks Gordon!
